How is the Brand regulated?

The Brand is regulated by a General Regulation which details  the principles and values ​​that encourage it for its sustainable development of the territory . GDR is the owning entity , and has appointed a Management and Control Committee made ​​up of independent professionals from various fields , which is responsible for managing all tasks related to the distinctive:

  • establishing the requirements for obtaining the brand
  • Certifications of the Organizations
  • Recording the certified organizations
  • Promotion and diffusion of the Brand
  • Coordination with other Rural Quality territories
  • Planning of formative actions
  • And any other actions  in favour of the development of the Brand and of the certified companies

For each product or service there are some criteria which the company or organization must apply in order to aim for the certificate. These requirements are collected in specific  regulations depending on the sector they belong .
